Summary

William Klann joined Ford Motor Company as a machinist in 1905. By 1912, he oversaw Model T engine assembly at Highland Park. Klann led Ford's production work on the Liberty V-12 aircraft engine during World War I, and he later went to England to improve Ford's manufacturing efforts there. After leaving Ford in 1928, Klann worked for Studebaker and Hudson.
