Linford Prototype Automobile Emblem, circa 1927

Summary

With Model T sales falling in the mid-1920s, Ford Motor Company considered options to supplement, or perhaps even replace, the aging T. One idea was to build a hybrid car, combining features of Ford and Lincoln automobiles, under the name "Linford." Ford ultimately replaced the Model T with the Model A, introduced in December 1927.
