1927 Ford Model T Touring Car, The Fifteen-Millionth (and Last) Ford Model T, Photographed in Henry Ford Museum, 1934

Summary

The fifteen millionth Ford Model T -- the ceremonial "last" Model T built -- joined The Henry Ford's collection soon after the museum opened in 1929. Ford Motor Company occasionally borrowed the car for promotional activities for several years. The T was repainted sometime between 1939 and 1953, covering its commemorative "Fifteen Millionth Ford" lettering. That lettering was restored in 1990.
