Summary

Canadian Syd Howe played in the National Hockey League for 17 seasons from 1929 to 1946. He spent most of his career playing left wing for the Detroit Red Wings, winning three Stanley Cup championships with that team. This photo was taken while Howe was employed in the tool-and-die building at Ford Motor Company's Rouge plant in Dearborn, Michigan.
