Ford's proposition was probably to entice dealers to sell the Model T. Postcards like this are very ephemeral and we are lucky to have this piece.

Detroit. 3 Oil Lamps Horn and Iron For Top. Also written on front, on the side of the car is: N.B.H.S. '09 . Two flags are drawn in as if mounted on the car, and they read "'09". The year "1909" is written in on the car's white tires.
