Indianapolis Motor Speedway hosted the twentieth Indianapolis 500 on May 30, 1932. New Hampshire native Fred Frame won his only victory, in eight Indy 500 appearances, at the 1932 contest. Only 14 of the 40 qualifying cars managed to finish that year's race. Edsel Ford had the honor of driving the pace car, a 1932 Lincoln Model KB roadster.
