Their popular mascot--a sock puppet dog--was created by TBWA Worldwide and voiced by comedian Michael Ian Black. It made appearances on talk shows, commercials, and as a float in Macy's Thanksgiving Parade.

Rumors about his formative years include escaping from a washing machine and being dismissed from a Doggy Manner's School. Neither of these rumors have been confirmed or denied. / What we do know is that the Pets.com Sock Puppet has a lot of friends who happen to be pets. His home is a spacious wood drawer (he says he's just renting).
