Summary

Carl Mayer, nephew of the company's namesake, created the first Oscar Mayer Wienermobile in 1936. In the years since, more than a dozen Wienermobiles have promoted the brand at stores, parades, and festivals. This Wienermobile, one of five built between 1950 and 1954, was updated and modernized before its donation to The Henry Ford. This image shows the vehicle on display in 2008.
