Summary

Nordyke and Marmon Company had built grain milling equipment since 1851. In 1902, Howard Marmon built the company's first car. Production focused primarily on quality, luxury vehicles. Reorganized as the Marmon Motor Car Company in 1926, the company produced passenger vehicles until 1933. A truck division survived and later became part of the Marmon Group.
