World-famous artist and designer, Paul Frank shares an in-depth look at the 22-year history of his brand. Paul Frank himself will reveal how he started to hand craft accessories in his garage and soon after, his work - inspired by mid-century modern design, music and pop culture - became a global phenomenon. Keeping the authentic roots of his one-of-a-kind vision at the forefront, Paul Frank and his iconic characters, including the notable “Julius the Monkey,” are recognized around the world by fans of all ages and continue to encourage people to “never grow up!”

Enhance your Paul Frank experience with a craft workshop August 11

As an extension of the Paul Frank lecture, the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation is proud to host a craft workshop at 10:30 am taught by Paul Frank himself! Using his iconic character designs, fans of all ages will have the opportunity to be led by the artist to create a personalized, one-of-a-kind vinyl sketchbook cover. NOTE: workshop is intended for people at least 12 years old, as attendees will be using scissors, screw punches and hammers. The workshop price is $150.00 and includes your materials.
