As the nation commemorates its 250th anniversary in 2026, this yearlong series explores how creativity and ingenuity have sparked change across centuries of American life and how they continue to shape the future we all share.

From revolutionary inventions to grassroots movements, stories of transformation will be featured throughout each of our venues.

Experience one of the largest collections of its kind ever assembled and learn about the breakthroughs big and small that have made our world what it is today.

The Jackson Home: A Symbol of Courage and Strategy

  • Opening the Week of June 9

    The Jackson Home is a unique time capsule documenting the inspiring story of a courageous family and community at the forefront of one of the most momentous movements in U.S. history: the Selma to Montgomery marches — a sustained effort to ensure that all Americans would have the civil rights and voting rights promised to them. Relocated from Selma, Alabama, the Jackson Home is the first home to be added to Greenfield Village in more than 40 years.

Ford Rouge Factory Tour

Rev up your inner engineer in a five-part experience at a legendary factory — Ford Motor Company's Dearborn Truck Plant.

Open Monday-Saturday, 9:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (Last tour bus leaves at 3:00 p.m. Please note the venue's production schedule).

Giant Screen Experience

THF Summer Camp

The Henry Ford Summer Camp offers a perfect blend of learning and fun for children and preteens entering grades 2-7. Campers will explore, learn and grow through engaging activities tailored to their developmental and educational needs.

Weeklong camps hosted June 22-July 31 (excluding June 29-July 3).
